You have asked for it, it is back! Jon is going abroad again and you are coming with me! Let's go to Majorca!

Before travelling there for the first time a couple of years ago, I really, really was not interested. I usually do not like places famous for holidays. And then I travelled there in November, and what a shock!
This island is a marvel with incredible beauties, the architecture is outstanding, imagine these perfectly clean beige houses, churches and cathedrals that seem to be a natural extention of the nearby mountains and beaches. Imagine as we take an early morning bus on our first day and arrive in an exquisit town between the Mediterranean Sea and the mountain range, we start climbing slowly for about an hour, walking through the cobbelstone streets of an ancient mountainous village before we reach for the mountain top where we are likely to be welcomed by some of the few hundreds of vultures with their over 2 meter of wingspan flying right above our head or one of the many booted eagles that inhabit the area.
And the food, I know you are a foody like me, so,... let's not even mention it.

The hikes are some of the most beautiful I have ever seen. And the best thing, close to no tourists in autumn! How amazing is that? I travelled around the island under 20 degrees in late November and only saw one other hiker... and a sheperd who caught me in a very embarassing position... I might tell you the story if I dare...

This is now my 10th trip abroad with my hikers and I got to learn that putting too many difficult hikes in a trip is too much, so this time, there will only be 1 semi-demanding hike which will be on day one. the hikes after that will be easier and I might even give you some alone time to enjoy yourself.

DAY 1:
Depending on what time we arrived, we might take a visit of Palma de Majorca before diner and enjoy a walk in the forest that surrounds the capital.
DAY2:
This is the big hike day, we will take a bus to the beautiful town of Soller. We will climb to the mountain top, through an amazing village for some amazing views of the coast and mountains. The hike is quite demanding so we will take our time and have a good rest on the top while waiting for the vultures and eagles to come and say hi. The way back down will be as beautiful as we descant alongside a beautiful gorge.
DAY 3:
On our third day, we will wake up a bit later and head for a coastal hike that I still need to choose from, the views as you can imagine will be spectacular no matter which one I choose... You will then have free time before we head for our last diner in Majorca.
DAY4:
Depending on our flight time, we might just enjoy the hotel pool or have a nice walk nearby, but by experience, I know that people usually like to rest on day 4 of a hiking trip.

PRICE:
About £480, without food (Except breakfast) for the hotel, activities and public transport in Majorca for this trip.
Refundable up to 30 days before departure.

FLIGHTS:
Flight in: London-Majorca

I am booked on the 08:10am on the 06th of Nobember 2026, from Stansted to Majorca arriving at 11:30am local time.
You have several choices:
Option 1:
- You can meet me at Stansted airport at 6am and we will travel together on the same plane, I will take you to the hotel and we will spend the day together either in Palma de Majorca and some time by the pool if weather allows or you can have the day to yourself.

Option 2:
If you find a cheaper flight, or one that suits you better, from a different airport, you can meet us at 11:30 am at Majorca airport and the above apply.

Option 3:
You can take a later flight, after work, and make your own way to the hotel but this will be with your own transport and you will have to check in yourself. You can then meet us on the following day for breakfast.

Whatever option you choose, please let me know asap.

Return:

Book any plane on the 9th of November, I am booked on the 11:10 Easyjet flight to Luton. The last day will be free so you can either enjoy the hotel or visit something you would like to visit as I will leave in the morning and will give you cash for the bus to the airport.

INCLUDED IN PRICE:
- 3 nights stay at a nice hotel with a private room, I will see what is available but I usually go for 4 stars with a pool. You can choose to stay with a friend or partner in your room to cut the hotel price by half but I would need to know long in advance please.
-Airport transfers by bus in Majorca if you arrive and leave at the same time as we do
-Return public transports in Majorca during the hikes and visits
-Breakfasts at the hotel
-My costs( Hotel, flight, food, transport, luggage...)

I am a bit of a princess, so I prefer a cute comfortable place which cost a bit more over a hostel which I do not like.

ATTENTION PLEASE:
- It is your entire responsibility to book a travel insurance, refund are only possible up to 30 days before departure as I have to book hotels in advance to have the best advantages, so please only book if you are certain to join us.
-I will only take up to 6 people with me on a first come, first serve basis.
-Some trips and activities might have to be changed due to unexpected circumstances, (Hikes, visits,...) As it is beyond my control, you agree that I might have to find alternatives and cannot be deemed responsible for it.
-By signing up to my events, you agree that you are responsible for your own person, and that I am not liable for any issues, injuries or problems that might from time to time, happen to you. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the right insurance and that you follow reasonable advices I might give you.
-Please ensure you have the correct visa and passport, it is your responsibility.
-if you miss the trip for any reason, there will be no refund possible unless you cancel 30 days before departure and you also agree to this by signing up to it via Meetup or in any other way such as direct bank transfer, or other platforms.

POLICIES:
1: This group is designed for the pleasure and enjoyment of all of us, we do not accept any derogatory comments or behaviours towards anyone. Racism, discrimination and other unacceptable behaviours will only lead to your rejection of any of our trips and this is without exception.
2: This trip is refundable up to 30 days before departure included.(Except flight)
3:In the eventuality that our trains/buses/flights are delayed, or cancelled which is out of my control, I do not pay for taxis or alternative route. Be aware that would anything out of my power happens, I might have to shorten or change a day trip and find an alternative activity. This is why you need a travel insurance. By signing up to my events, you agree to this.
4:It is your responsibility to look after yourself and your own safety, I am not responsible for people's behaviour but please ensure that you follow my instructions, especially in mountainous areas and cliffs or in the sea to avoid any severe issues during the trip. I thus decline any responsibility in any accidents that might occur, especially if you do not follow my advice. Do not walk off the path, keep at least 2 meters between yourself and the cliff edge when possible and do not swim in dangerous water. By signing to my events, you agree to all of the above.
