Notice: this group has been renamed ‘The Jordan Peterson Chaos Group.’ This seems to be an appropriate name on two counts: i) the positions of members are often entirely at odds with each other, whether or not debate is healthy, this is chaos; and ii) the philosophical underpinnings of Peterson’s core arguments seem often to be at odds with each other and here I am thinking of the inconsistencies of a Jungian analyst and Nietzschean taking on establishment postmodernism. To be elaborated on below. In any case, there is a rule that you should get your room in order before you criticize the outside world, and should such achievement occur, the group may be renamed “The Jordan Peterson Order Group.” Personally, I see the descriptor 'chaos' as a reasonable assessment of the current situation, rather than as a pejorative.
