Squaw Mountain is the peak to the northwest of Soledad Canyon. This 2.6 mile morning hike takes about 3.5 hours, with the elevation gain of 1400 feet. It is an off trail hike, and thus makes the difficulty level medium, despite the short distance.
Our fearless hike leader Raena hiked up there with the adventurous Ocotillo hikers on October 20, 2012, and their online photo album link is: https://plus.google.com/photos/115174859760927268106/albums/5801547487581593921?banner=pwa.
It's a fun hike could be enjoyed by everybody.
