Celebration of our Mountains- Rock Hound Trip to Baker Ranch

I have signed up for one of the trips for the El Paso Celebration of Our Mountains. See website: (http://www.celebrationofourmountains.org/2013-calendar/). I am not leading this trip or in any way responsible for the content of the trip. I am planning on going and can fit 3 more people in my car.

I am planning on leaving around 6:30 on Sat morning and Jim Contreras has suggested that people from LC meet them at Pancho Villa SP at 8:30. On the way back if I have enough energy I am planning on spending a little time at Rockhound State Park. There are a couple short trails in the area. I am planning on getting back to LC in the early afternoon, but do not have a set time. I am playing this trip by 'ear', since I not been to any of these areas before.

where to meet: Milagro's at 630 am
to bring: water, lunch, sunscreen, hat, bucket, trowel, if needed: documentation for Border Patrol checkpoint.
