Location visible to members
What: Baylor Pass is located East of Las Cruces, New Mexico, in the Organ Mountains. We will be hiking from the West Trailhead (access via Baylor Canyon Road), up to the pass, and back to the West Trailhead.
When: Sat, Nov 23
Meeting Place/Time: 8:30 am at KMart (Del Rey and Telshor)
Difficulty: Moderate. About 1500-ft elevation gain.
Length: 8+ miles round-trip.
Type: Maintained trail, out and back.
Hiking time: About 4 hours.
Bring: Sturdy hiking shoes/boots, plenty of water, hat, snacks, sunblock.
Cost: None for hike, but if you carpool please offer to compensate your driver.
