Needs a location
This trail is relatively easy: it's a graded railroad bed almost the entire way. The challenge is the altitude—at above 8000 ft, it's a good cardio workout. Length is some 8.2 mi, which at that elevation is longer than it sounds. Please remember to bring enough water, proper shoes (the trail is rocky, hiking boots can't hurt) and snack/lunch.
This group has done this trail a couple times this year, but never in the winter. It's a good, short hike for those trying to work themselves up to the Bataan Death March.
