Organ Needle dayhike.

Hike to the Organ Needle from La Cueva trailhead.

****************************************************

1. Get set at La Cueva trailhead.

2. Hike up to Juniper Saddle.

3. Take a short break.

4. Hike from Juniper up the waterfall to Dark Canyon

5. Scramble up the short rockface past DC to the Needle.

(If anyone else is equipped to rappel down, I'll be rigging an anchor.) Otherwise it's a short downclimb.

It's always the hikers choice to do what they are comfortable with.

Hike time: 9 hrs

Skill level: Intermediate - Advanced

Equipment: Radios. I have an extra one to share.

Thanks, plenty of scenic rest stops on it. I marked them all down on GPS. I'm gonna post it on my hiking blog.

We decided not to go because of the chance of rain.
