A celebration of local beer 'Blazin' Brewfest' is scheduled on May 2nd, from 4-9 pm, in Downtown Las Cruces.

Your favorite locals High Desert, De La Vega's, Spotted Dog and Bosque Brewing will welcome Ponderosa Brewing, Red Door Brewing, Little Toad Creek Brewery & Distillery, Taos Mesa, Tractor, Marble, Santa Fe, Turtle Mountain, La Cumbre, Second Street, Monks Ale and New Mexico Hard Cider.
Our favorite food trucks Luchador, Happy Dog, 138 Sandwiches and Cruising Quesadillsa will folks fed with live music by Man No Sober of Santa Fe and local band the Gold Hearted Crows.

Hike details: Pine Tree Loop
A nice hike for both beginners and intermediate hikers, Pine Tree Loop starts in the high upper desert and takes you into the pine trees and junipers. Since we are going to be starting our hike later in the day, hopefully the pine trees will provide some shade for our hike.
Please bring plenty of water, hat, snacks, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear. Hiking poles are suggested.
DISTANCE is ~4.5 mi, roundtrip.
ELEVATION GAIN is ~1000 ft gained.
FEES: $5/vehicle, paid at the trailhead If you have a Federal Lands Pass, please bring them; they are accepted here.
DURATION: Finish by mid-afternoon (hopefully by 3 pm in order to taste as many beers as possible)
PET FRIENDLY? Yes. This area is highly used, and park rules state that dogs must be on leash on trail.
