Organ Needle

The Organ Needle is the highest peak in the Organs, with the altitude of 9012'. The round trip of the hike is about 8 miles, with elevation gain of close to 4000'. It takes about 10 hours.

4000' of climbing within 4 miles is very steep. As a matter of fact, the first half is on relatively easy terrain, which means that the most elevation gain is concentrated towards the second half.

Extremely difficult, poses challenges that are physical/spiritual/mental/psychological.

Please assess your own capability of doing it.
