explore the bottom of elephant butte lake

since the lake is so low we have a opportunity to hike the lake bed and hike up the elephant nose where the goats once lived.  Maybe we will find a fossil like they did last year. Take a lot of photos and you can show your children and future grandchildren how empty the lake was. Since the drought may be ending this may be our last chance to hike under the lake for years to comes o don't miss your to come.

pet are ok

Maybe go to the hot springs after.

Lunch and maybe a winery in Caballo Lake.
