Dia de los Muertos Procession

Please join me in walking in the Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) remembrance procession being held on November 2nd in downtown Mesilla. The procession will start in the plaza and will walk to the San Albino Cemetery. The total walk will cover less than 1.5 miles and will probably take around 1-1.5 hours. Afterwards we can discuss going to dinner or drinks.

We will meet at the Mesilla town hall and walk over to the plaza. Hopefully there will be enough parking for everyone at town hall. It will probably be cold on the walk, so a jacket would be a good idea.

I came down with a cold over the weekend. I am still coughing and sneezing to excess. Is someone willing to take over as host? Otherwise I will leave the meetup on the board, but I will not be attending.

Is there a dress code? I am hoping to be back in town and be able to join.

No dress code. Most people come in street clothing, but there will be some people in traditional dress (with full makeup).
