On the way we will pass several hot springs and a cliff dwelling. We will return via Little Bear Canyon exiting at TJ Corral.

You can drive up to the Gila Visitor Center on your own or meet to carpool Saturday morning at 7am at the Starbucks/Khol's parking lot in west El Paso. Las Cruces folks please contact each other to arrange carpooling. I plan on beginning the backpack by around 12pm. from the Gila Visitor Center parking lot. The visitor center has a bookstore, museum, and restrooms. It is an approximate 4 hour, 200 mile drive to the visitor center.
