The hike is off of Forest Road 64. This is an easy to moderate hike.
After the hike we will go to the Western Food and Booze restaurant.
Wear good hiking footwear. A walking stick or trekking poles are a plus. There will be rocks along the first part of the trail.
The distance is about 4-5 miles round trip. It is an in-and-out hike.
It should be about 20 to 25 degrees cooler than Las Cruces.
Bring a poncho just in case it decides to rain on our hike.
Bring plenty of water and a snack.
PLEASE CHIP IN FOR GAS AND WEAR AND TEAR OF THE VEHICLE, MILEAGE IS ABOUT 225 MILES ROUND TRIP. HIGH CLEARANCE RECOMMENDED. DO NOT NEED 4WD.
