Not quite Maine, but it's nice Jeannie!

No more dumbbells. I'm ashamed of myself for partially causing the trouble last Saturday. But I'll be there. Seriously, after a bit climbing, you might feel like you are hiking in Maine, instead of in the middle of the Chihuahua desert. And that's why Samat said you could wear shorts.

Only if you bring your dumbells again?

Seriously Jeannie, you may wear shorts this time. The terrain is totally different. Yubao

Thanks. I was actually joking after foolishly wearing shorts last Saturday on the El Paso hiking club's version of the Bataan death march up to Antony's nose...11 hr hike through cactus. Think I'll wear long pants for this next one, but appreciate your response. J

@Jeannie: Shorts will be fine. Depending on whether it rains in the mountains you may also want water-proof shoes.

I'm tentatively out of town this weekend, so if anyone else would like to lead from Las Cruces please let me know. If anyone needs better directions please also let me know!
