What we’re about
Welcome to Journey Junkies!
This is a group for active, adventurous senior singles (ages 50–70) who want to get out, explore, and truly live — not sit at home talking about aches and ailments. Whether it’s trying something new, finding a companion for travel, or enjoying local events, this group is about fun, friendship, and new experiences.
We’ll mix it up with local outings (happy hours, dinners, live music, festivals) and plenty of active adventures like day hikes, nature walks, biking, kayaking, tent camping, trailer/RV camping, and other outdoor getaways. For those with bigger dreams, we’ll also plan weekend escapes and bucket-list travel. If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to do that, but I don’t have anyone to go with…” — this is the group for you!
To keep things engaging and welcoming, meet-ups will be gender balanced when possible, and group sizes will be managed based on the activity type. There are no annual membership fees at this time. Depending on the event, however, some activities may require fees and/or deposits.
