In this talk, I’ll show how treating Prisma schemas as the single source of truth allows types to flow naturally through an application—from validation, to APIs, to the frontend. By deriving Zod schemas, TypeScript types, and tRPC contracts from one place, we eliminate ambiguity and give AI the structure it needs to safely generate and refactor code.
This end-to-end type flow reduces duplication, prevents inconsistencies, and dramatically improves AI-assisted coding.
