About:

I have 10 years of experience in the IT industry. I've seen its many faces, from junior developer to senior. I've lead teams small and big, and also managed a large project.

Now I'm back to development and my main interest goes around people, helping them grow, challenging them and at the same time teaching them how to challenge themselves.

Presentation summary:

Every day we're faced with making decisions. Some of them don't turn out to be as good as we hoped they would be, some of them prove to be downright mistakes. I strongly believe that growth is accelerated when we acknowledge those mistakes and overcome them by learning. But it's easier said than done.

This talk will be about making mistakes, taking bad decisions, not getting enough information and not being true to one's self or to others. Using examples from both my professional and my personal life, I’ll talk to you about the approaches I’ve taken and the learnings I’ve gathered while making mistakes. And how those shaped my view on leadership, coaching, mentoring and modelling.
