Flagstaff Paddle/Hike and get "Ruined"

Elevation 6200' Lakeview Campground at Lake Mary should cool us off!
•Kayaking: We'll be close to Lake Mary, Ashurst, Kinnikinick and Mormon if we want to paddle them all.
•Hiking: trails galore, one is at the campground (Woods Memorial Trail), Walnut Canyon Cave and others nearby.
•Ruins: Possible daytrip to Wupatki Pueblo, Sunset Crater and others
•LAKEVIEW CAMPGROUND on Upper Lake Mary

•13 miles from I-17 south-east of Flagstaff on Forest Highway 3 (Lake Mary Road) on your left
•Rate is $30/nt unless you have an America The Beautiful Pass is $15/nt.
•I've reserved 2 sites (with 2 tents each) under my name, let me know if you want the other or to share. ($56 total). Sites are 21 and 24.
•As of 6.26.25, there are still 5 sites and 15 first come first served sites open. Trailers up to 28' according to the website.
•30 sites have tables, firepit, grill, 3 vault toilets, potable water.
•SUP's are welcome on this trip.
What to bring:
•Camping gear-tent, stove, chairs, headlamp, etc
•Food/beverages
•Kayak, PFD/life jacket, paddle, gloves, hat, sunscreen
•Potluck item for Saturday night
•Hiking boots/poles
•Binoculars (optional)
•Firewood (if we're able to burn)
•National Park Pass aka America the Beautiful

I hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Just Add Water Paddlers and it's leaders, organizers, members and participants from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, property damage or death resulting from my, and that of my guest(s), participation in any of the group's events. I acknowledge that the event has risks, and I assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my participation in any event. I intend this release to discharge the above named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.
I certify that I am of sufficient physical condition to participate in this event, and that my equipment is in proper condition for use at the event.
I have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my heirs and assigns. I consent to emergency transportation and care at my own expense if I become injured or ill.
GUESTS: My guest(s) have read this waiver, and have agreed to it. I accept full responsibility for my guest's safety and behavior.
