Holly-Jolly-Jingle Bells kayak, potluck, and campfire at Lake Pleasant

LET'S FINISH 2025 STRONG WITH FRIENDS, FOOD AND FUN!
•Day paddle a few arms of Lake Pleasant beginning at 2:00pm from the 4-Lane boat ramp on the north end of the lake.
•Around 5pm, we'll drive a short way to Cottonwood Day Use area where there are tables, shelter and grills for our potluck.
•We'll have a few propane firepits to gather 'round for a couple of fun games and possibly some carols to sing, jingle some bells and laughter to be had!
•Feel free to dress up for the holiday spirit!
Here are the details:
•Launch- 2:00pm from the 4 Lane Boat Ramp (kayak, canoe or SUP)
•Eat-5pm at Cottonwood Day Use Pavilions
•Campfire songs and games - 5:30-8pm at Cottonwood Day Use Pavilions
What to Bring:
•Kayak/canoe/SUP and paddle
•PFD - must be worn properly at all times on the water
•Water to drink (no alcohol while on the water)
•Potluck food to share (include your own serving utensils!)
•Plate, utensils, beverage holder (mug, bottle, glass, etc)
•Firepit & propane if you have one
•Warm clothes, mittens, Santa hats etc (it got chilly last year after sunset)
Chairs for around the fire
•Headlamp/flashlight

•Day use pass is $7/vehicle and $2 per boat. Park closes at 8pm.
•Campsites are available at Desert Tortoise and others if you'd like to make a weekend of it

I hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Just Add Water Paddlers and it's leaders, organizers, members and participants from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, property damage or death resulting from my, and that of my guest(s), participation in any of the group's events. I acknowledge that the event has risks, and I assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my participation in any event. I intend this release to discharge the above named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.
I certify that I am of sufficient physical condition to participate in this event, and that my equipment is in proper condition for use at the event.
I have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my heirs and assigns. I consent to emergency transportation and care at my own expense if I become injured or ill.
GUESTS: My guest(s) have read this waiver, and have agreed to it. I accept full responsibility for my guest's safety and behavior.
