All the rules are going to be explained at the event.
Special socks are needed, available for purchase at the venue. Keep the socks (2.50 €) for next time! You just need regular sports clothes.Arrive on time no later than ten minutes before the event.

Boulder at Beta - Beginners Friendly + free climbing shoe rental
Beta Boulders Amsterdam, Stadionplein 18, Amsterdam, NH, NLWant to climb and socialise with a fun group? Beta Boulders Amsterdam (stadionplein 18) is a great opportunity for that. No experience is required, the host focuses on helping beginners learn to climb. Experienced climbers are also more then welcome to join. After 1.5-2 hours you will be too tired to climb more and we will socialise by having a drink and snacks at the bar on location. those registered with the meet up get 20%discount on drinks.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING:
*if it is your first time at beta then you need to register at the boulder hall. when you walk in to beta, you will see a screen on your right, first register there before going down the stairs to pay at the counter and collect your shoes.*please unregister if you can't make it. we have had a few times people signed up didn't show up while people on the waiting list couldnt go. if you can't go and unregister then people on the waiting list get a spot
*the entrance door is a bit hard to open, but it is not locked, so push hard :)
*We have a core group of people who are always there for the meet up and we always welcome new people. So if you want to meet some new people, come join us. Day passes can be bought at the gym.
What to bring:
- climbing shoes (or free to hire for beginners when joining through this meet up)
*sport clothes (in winter it can be cold to begin with but you will easily warm up after a few climbs) - water bottle
We will gather inside the climbing hall. If you arrive late, just go inside and ask at the register for the meet up and where the host is.

finally, next to the WhatsApp group below that is for the entire meet up group we also have one just for bouldering. you can ask the organisers to join this WhatsApp group, just two rules: 1 everyone should feel safe, if you have a bad experience speak up, talk to the organisers or discuss with someone in the group you trust and 2 it's a boulder and social group, not a dating app. People come to socialise and boulder so don't ask a person you just met or hardly know in the group for a date.
