Looking for a cozy, creative Sunday activity in Amsterdam? Want to unplug, meet cool people, and learn the art of paper folding? Welcome to the Amsterdam Origami Club!
Whether you're a total beginner or a crafting pro, join us for a relaxing, instructor-led session of "yoga for the mind." Hosted by Samuel Tsang—author of The Book of Mindful Origami—this monthly workshop is your perfect Sunday digital detox.

• June 14 – Modular Origami (The cool math & architecture of paper 📐)
• July 13 – Kirigami (The art of paper cutting ✂️)

• Oct 11 – Halloween (Spooky ghosts, bats & pumpkins 🎃)

The session runs entirely on a voluntary donation basis.

Where: Makerplaats Room (1st Floor), OBA CC Amstel
Address: Cullinanplein 1, 1074 JM, Amsterdam (Right near De Pijp)

• Getting there: The closest Metro station is De Pijp. Free street parking is usually available on Sundays, or you can park at ParkBee Pestana.
• Arrival info: Please arrive on time! The front door is locked on Sundays. If you’re late, ring the doorbell. (Pro-tip: To keep the class flowing, the last person to arrive gets the honorary job of letting the next latecomers in! 😉)

## 👥 FAQs & Guidelines

• Is it beginner-friendly? 100%. We take you through it step-by-step.
• What should I bring? Everything is provided, but bring a small bag to carry your paper creations home safely. Feel free to bring your own aesthetic paper if you want!
• Are kids allowed? Yes, but we recommend ages 8+ as younger kids often struggle with the fine motor skills needed. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
