WHERE: Caledonia State Park, 101 Pine Grove Road, Fayetteville, PA 17222
WHEN: October 9-11, 2026 Check in 3pm/Out is 3pm
I have reserved campsite #44 in Chinquapin East loop
Caledonia State Park is a 1,125 acre state park with 184 campsites (electric and non-electric) and 10 miles of hiking trails. The Appalachian Trail runs along its southern border. The park also has a swimming pool, golf course, summer stock theater and stream fishing. Day visitors are allowed from 8am-10pm.
Proposed Schedule:
Friday, Oct 9 - Arrive. Set up. Campfire. Discuss Saturday's activities.
Saturday, Oct 10 - Activity. Covered dish dinner at 5pm
Sunday, Oct 11 - Breakfast, strike camp and return home
Participation in the above schedule is purely voluntary as there are so many other activities to participate in.
Ranger programs for this date have not yet been released.
DETAILS:
Campsite amenities include a fire ring and table. Water and modern bathrooms/showers are nearby.
I ask that everyone bring a bundle of firewood to support our evening campfire, PLEASE
