Let's go to the Maryland Renaissance Festival!
Now in its 50th year, the MRF was voted third best in Country by USA Today . . . and best in country for 2025. Each year, the woods around Anne Arundle County are transformed in a 16th Century village, Revel Grove, that plays out the life of King Henry VIII. Over 200 performers in period dress, 140 artisans and 42 food emporiums await you.

Suggested plan:
Let's meet in the parking lot at 9:30. Gates open at 10am. Look for the American flag on a tall pole with blue ribbon. Once assembled and greetings exchanged, a lunch plan will be decided.
What you need to know:
You must purchase your own ticket. Tickets go on sale July 27.
Food may be brought in but no coolers or obvious carriers. One sealed bottle of water and one empty water bottle may be taken in. Water refill stations are available. Clear bags only. Please visit website for more details.
Not all vendors take credit cards.
Dress for the weather and dusty uneven trails. Shade is limited.
