Camping Near Harpers Ferry, WV

WHERE: Cross Trails Hostel, 19123 Sandy Hook Road Knoxville, MD 21578
WHEN: November 6-8, 2026 Check-in 4pm/ Check out 1pm
COST: Tent $20 per person per night, Bunk $40 per night, Private room $80 per night (includes all fees). Each person is required to make their own reservation. To make a reservation, please visit the Cross Trails website at www.xtrailshostel.org.

WHAT U NEED TO KNOW:
Cross Trails is conveniently located about 5 miles from Harpers Ferry (HF).

Since the weather can be unpredictable during this season, it is good to have choices. Amenities include a lady's bunk room/showers, a men's bunk room/showers (think summer camp), a large, fully furnished operational kitchen/dining/lounge area. The tent/fire/picnic area is a large grassy lawn with stunning views of the Shenandoah River. Tents have full access to inside areas and showers. Tent area also has screened-in patio available to us. Breakfast items such as coffee, pancake mix and eggs are included in cost.

Proposed plan:
Fri, Nov 6- Arrive, set up, campfire. Discuss Saturday's activity.

Sat, Nov 7:
8amish: Should you care to join us for breakfast in the kitchen, please do.
Just bring your own breakfast, make breakfast and or bring items to share.
9amish- Activity
5pm- Group Dinner. If items need to be refrigerated, place them in the kitchen refrigerator with your name & date to be removed.

Sun, Nov 8- Breakfast, strike camp, return home.

No one is under any obligation to participate in the proposed plan. You do you and let's have fun!

Everyone is ask to PLEASE bring a bundle of firewood to support our evening fires.
