Many people have tried meditation many times and then give up because either they don’t feel any different, so they think it doesn’t work, or it’s too difficult to find time to actually “do it”. Buddha is renowned for his understanding of meditation and the techniques he taught are easy to put into practice. Meditation is a tool for personal change. It connects us to our own inner peace and gives us the ability to respond to the stress of daily life in a healthy and positive way.
In this course we will learn
-What is meditation?
-The benefits of meditation.
-How to begin meditation.
Why not give meditation another chance and join us for this half-day experience where we learn how to meditate and then we practice what we have learned with a qualified teacher to gently guide us.
Schedule:
Session 1: 10-11:15am
Session 2: 11:45am-1 pm
Lunch: 1:15pm
