Meditation Class with optional community brunch : Living Your Best Life
Kadampa Meditation Center North Carolina, 528 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC, UShttps://www.meditationcharlotte.org/
The “six perfections” of giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration, and wisdom have been extensively explained by all great Mahayana Buddhist masters all the way back to Buddha himself. These practices transcend time and place, and are just as relevant for us today as they were centuries ago. They reveal how we too can live our best life, ripening and liberating our Buddha nature, and attaining enlightenment for the benefit of others, even in these modern times.
Community Brunch is right after class upstairs in the Community Dining Room.
• The food will be fun and delicious, prepared by one of our volunteers, no need to bring anything.1 attendee - $12.00

Friday lunchtime meditation : How to Transform Suffering into Peace: Compassion
Kadampa Meditation Center North Carolina, 528 East Blvd., Charlotte, NC, UShttps://www.meditationcharlotte.org/
There is a way to look at suffering with a peaceful, loving mind, and that is actual compassion. This is not only healthy, it is one of the most powerful virtuous minds there is. This doesn’t imply that we’ll always be able to solve every problem just by wishing to do so, but it does mean that compassion is an essential part of finding the best solution to any problem involving people.1 attendee
