The GitHub User Group Kaduna was created to nurture and grow the open-source community here in Kaduna. We believe that open source is more than just code, it is a movement that empowers people to collaborate, solve real-world problems, and build impactful solutions together.
Our goal is to bring developers, enthusiasts, and tech professionals together to learn, share, and connect through open-source contributions and GitHub tools. By doing so, we hope to spark innovation at the local level, encourage job creation in the tech space, and support Africans' broader digital transformation.
Thanks to support from GitHub, our events will be completely free to attend. Meetups will focus on open source, GitHub best practices, and hands-on sessions with GitHub products. Whether you are just getting started with Git or you have been contributing to open source for years, this community is for you.
