It happens. You get the vision down. You cultivate (at least most of) the skills necessary. You block out the time. And... And... And... Nothing. Instead... You are met with a terrible fate.

Some invisible thing is keeping you from just sitting down and doing the work. Writer's Block. Or my case photographer (... doing that weird 3d render glitch-art thing for the end of the semester project)'s Block.

So I figure what the hell... If you want to go far, go together, right? Let's make it a group thing.

Cool! So... right! Who is this for?:
This process is for everyone regardless of creative discipline or experience. The goal is to build momentum, at your creative art of choice.

And what the heck are we doing?:
The group will meet weekly and work our way through the 12-week process that is The Artist's Way: 30th Anniversary Edition (ISBN-10 ‏ : ‎ 9780143129257)

And then the all the logistics:
Attendance is not mandatory for every single session, but participation is expected... and kinda the whole point. So you'll need to find a way to keep up, if you miss.

For general rules, we'll follow the author's own suggestions here, unless something doesn't work for us:

Our first meeting will be just to get started. Nothing due. You'll need a copy of the book by then, and that's about it. I'm sure the original edition is fine too if you can get it for cheaper.

Other than that... I've got a couple bookmarks that this research turned up that might be interesting. Fair warning I've read very little of these, but what little I did see felt like it was squarely in the ballpark.

I'm pretty sure she just keeps going too.

Anway... That's about it.
Existential creative crisis averted completely.
That was close :)
See you soon.
