During your visit to Kamakura, take a break and join our hands-on cooking experience.
Taught by 93-year-old Miyo-sensei, who grew up in Nagano, with English & French-speaking assistant.- Healthy and Natural!
We use seasonal vegetables and fermented seasonings like miso and soy sauce. No additives or preservatives—100% homemade and vegan. - Discover Traditional Japanese Cooking
OYAKI has a long history and is a local specialty of Nagano. You’ll learn authentic methods passed down through generations. - Fun Cultural Exchange

Conveniently located between Kamakura Station and Yuigahama Beach. (13 min walk from the Station / 7 min to Beach) Perfect for lunch, a snack, or dinner before or after sightseeing. - 4 types of oyaki
We make the dumpling with ingredients such as carrot, burdock root (gobo), eggplant, daikon radish, fried tofu, and sweet red beans (azuki). Recipes provided in English and Japanese.
Participation is 1,500 yen, which includes 4 handmade OYAKI dumplings and tea.
Schedule
- Weekends in August [Saturdays Aug 9, 16, 23, 30. Sundays Aug 10, 17, 24, 31]
- 1st and 2nd weekends of each month starting in September
Demonstration of making the fillings starts at : 11:00 / 13:00 / 15:00 / 17:00 (Please choose the time)
Hands-on session takes about 30 minutes.
