Enjoy a super wide view and narcissus garden in full bloom!
We would like to walk the ridge line which features the greatest panorama views of all Kansai mountains. We can look around more than half of Lake Biwa which is the largest lake in Japan, we walk trails along the lake for about couples of hours. There are breathtaking views from the ridge line. At the mountaintop there is a cafe which sells takeout sweets, it is called 360 stand run by Biwako Valley. If you are interested in it,please check the website of the company.We use some of the amusement facilities at this time.
There are several trails in this mountain, Mt.Horai. We will go halfway up this mountain by bus, so it is the easiest way to the top and we can enjoy the semi-flat ridge line trail for about half time of all this hiking on the mountain.
However, there are some steep slope sections until we arrive at the ridge line and it is not easy to walk from the trailhead to the mountaintop. It is a little far, so if you want to join this event and enjoy the great views, you need some physical strength and some food to keep them on this day.
After arriving at the mountaintop we drop in at the narcissus garden.There we can look hundreds of thousands of beautiful flowers and they are supposed to be in full bloom.Finally we take a ropeway to descend this high mountain which altitude is 1173m and then we walk to the nearest train station.

(There are bathrooms in the trains of Kosei Line, you may use them in advance because those at stations must be crowded.)

素晴らしい眺望と満開の水仙畑を楽しみましょう！
関西の山々の中で最も優れた眺望を誇る稜線を歩きたいと思います。日本一大きい琵琶湖の半分以上を見渡すことが出来、数時間にわたってその湖に沿って歩きます。稜線からは息をのむような景色が広がります。山頂には琵琶湖バレイが経営する360スタンドというテイクアウト・スイーツの売店があります。興味があれば同社のＨＰをご覧ください、今回私たちはその娯楽施設の複数を利用します。
この山、蓬莱山には多数の登山道があります。私たちは山腹までバスを利用して上がるため山頂まで一番楽な道で行きますし、全行程の山上でのハイキングの半分の時間をこのやや平らな稜線歩きで楽しむことが出来ます。
しかしながら、稜線まで上がるまでに多少急坂の区間もありますし、登山口から山頂まで歩くのは楽ではありません。多少距離がありますし、この企画の参加して絶景を楽しむには多少の体力とそれを維持する食料は必要です。
山頂に着いたのちに私たちは水仙畑に寄ります。数十万本の美しい花々が咲いており満開と見込まれます。最後に、私たちは標高1173Ｍというこの高い山からロープウェイで下山しそれから最寄り駅まで歩きます。

7:30 ＪＲ大阪駅8番のりば △12（1号車）付近、最西端側かつ西出口階段付近です または
8:40 ＪＲ湖西線堅田駅改札前
注意
・絶対時間厳守
利用するバスは1日1本しか走りません
・堅田駅から山上の水仙畑までトイレはありません
（湖西線電車にはトイレがあり、駅のは混雑するためそれを予め利用も可）
