About us

Pilots: Do you have mic fright? Do you find yourself second-guessing your radio calls, worrying about saying the wrong thing, or feeling overwhelmed when talking to ATC?

This group is designed for pilots who want to build confidence and improve their radio communication skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

We will practice realistic ATC scenarios, including:
• Ground and tower communications
• IFR clearances and procedures
• Flight following requests
• Approach and landing scenarios
• Unexpected situations and communication challenges

The group is hosted by Gene Stuart, a corporate pilot, flight instructor, and former air traffic controller with experience flying aircraft including the Pilatus PC-12 and Citation Excel. Participants will have the opportunity to practice radio calls, receive feedback, and learn how controllers think and communicate.

This is a judgment-free environment. Whether you are a student pilot, newly certificated pilot, rusty pilot returning to aviation, or an experienced pilot looking to sharpen your skills, you are welcome.

Come practice, learn, and become more comfortable on the radio.
