Postgres and Change Data Capture (CDC) Pipelines

Lots of Postgres users are moving data out of their main application db store and into an analytics space. David is going to present an in depth review of a Postgres CDC pipelines and how it works under the hood with PostgreSQL replication. He’ll cover what the options are for creating data pipelines with tools like Debezium and Fivetran. We’ll also cover what some of the end data stores look like with Snowflake, Big Query, and others.

We'll meet at 5 in the library for the presentation and then we'll head across the walkway to the Lenexa Public Market if folks want to have a drink or a snack to discuss the topic as a group.
