KC Postgres Doubleheader: Fleet Management & Tuning

KC Postgres fiends: Ahead of the KCDC conference this year we have an extra special meetup planned for August 12th. We will meet at Hive Coworking in downtown KC from 5-8pm. Snowflake has generously sponsored this meetup, including some KC BBQ for dinner.

Tyler Benfield - Prisma
Tyler Benfield works at Prisma where they just launched Postgres as a service. Tyler is speaking at KCDC this year and we’re excited to be able to host him at KC Postgres ahead of this year’s event. Tyler is going under the hood to show us how they architect and manage a large Postgres fleet at Prisma.

Frank Wiles - Revsys
Frank Wiles is in Lawrence, KS and one of the Django project founders. Frank wrote one of Postgres’ early tuning playbooks and still continues to help folks run Postgres and Django. Frank will talk about tuning Postgres today and what if anything has changed in the last 20 years.
