Let's do an afternoon hike this Sunday. We're going to start hiking at 3pm in Bernbach near Bad Herrenalb and then go to a rock formation for some nice landscape views.
This is a medium difficulty hike. It's a variation of Qualitätsweg "Bernbacher Grenzerfahrung", but going back to Bad Herrenalb instead of Bernbach (much easier to go back from Herrenalb).
Getting there:
- We're taking S1, departing Karlsruhe Hbf Vorplatz at 14:13.
- You can also take S1 from various other places in Karlsruhe (Yorckstr., Marktplatz etc.)
- (I'm probably taking the train from Mühlburger Tor.)
- Changing to Bus 113 (direction Gaggenau) in Bad Herrenalb Bahnhof.
- Coming by car? You can join us at Bad Herrenalb and take the bus with us. We're going to hike back to Bad Herrenalb.
We should be back in Karlsruhe by 8pm, or 9pm if we walk slowly and take long breaks.
