Lakeview Marsh/Montario Point, Lake Ontario

This has been one of the favorite paddles for this group. This is at the DEC boat launch of Montario Point Rd. Easy access, no facilities, probably the most beautiful freshwater sandy beach in NYS. If the winds are favorable we can venture out on lake Ontario for about 1 mile on this paddle and the rest would be in the marsh area. Maybe 4 hours?

Bring lunch and wear a swimsuit if you want to swim in the lake.

Must have your own kayak and life jacket.
