Mermaid Festival

This is not a Liquid Skies event just posting to let paddlers know. I will be unable to attend.

The Sleepy Hallow Mermaid Festival is scheduled for Sat, July 19, 2025 @ Kingsland Point Park. It is open to those on land, and the river. Sups, kayaks all welcome. Details and time to follow.

There will be a parade on land & in the river. Festivities start at 12 noon & go to 4 pm. Get there at 11:30 am if you plan to kayak, SUP etc. Landlubbers can get there later. I will be unable to lead our group in a paddle as I can't attend. You can meet there and make your own paddle either before or after enjoying the costumes and festivities on land. They may have some planned paddles so check with them. Come and wear your favorite mermaid/mermen/pirate outfit and join us. Costumes are not mandatory.
