Basic Home Repair 101 by JCCC Continuing Education

Each class includes a guided project where you’ll roll up your sleeves and put your new knowledge to work on real-life repairs, like replacing an outlet, fixing a leaky faucet, or patching drywall. You’ll walk away with practical skills, newfound confidence, and a deeper understanding of the place you call home— and how to keep it safe, in good repair, and more affordable to maintain.
Classes are through Johnson County Community College Continuing Education Program, altogether 8 sessions, 2 hours for each session on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm From Feb 24-Mar 19. Cost is $129, register here.

Follow the main character of “Everybody,” as they journey through life’s greatest mystery: its own meaning. It’s a “meta and saucy adaptation” (Time Out New York) with a special twist, where the role of “Everybody” is chosen by lottery every night.

Johnson County Community College, 12345 College Boulevard, Overland Park, KS, USDreaming of van life or just hate being blackmailed by auto shops? Let’s learn the basics of car care and routine maintenance to get a little more fearless.
You’ll gain skills including:
How to check and change tires
Understanding treadwear and what it might indicate
Checking fluids and understanding fluid types, colors and smells
Checking and changing air filters, belts and bulbs. And other major vehicle safety checks.Safety glasses are required to enter the automotive lab. Students are invited to bring their own or will wear a JCCC issued pair. No textbook required.
