After Effects Camp @ Stageport KC (Crossroads)

For the month of February, we're switching the schedule around a bit: we'll be having our meeting in conjunction with the After Effects Camp scheduled for Saturday, February 12, from 9am to 4pm, at StagePort KC in the Crossroads District.

Come and spend the day with us and learn more about this most-prevalent of Adobe visual design tools that somehow hasn't become a verb yet (like "Photoshop"), even though you see its results everywhere.

After Effects CS5 is a motion graphics/design tool used for animation, compositing, editing, and post-production work in all kinds of environments (broadcast, online, outdoor).

Those scoreboard commercials at Kauffman Stadium? AE.
The "ribbon" scoreboard encircling the middle of the Sprint Center? AE.
Every time you see an animated introduction on the news, those flashing transitions on ESPN, good grief...After Effects is everywhere!

The $25 admission fee includes a full day of training and lunch.
