August KCDesignCore Meeting "Back to School Night"

This month, we're going to focus on TRAINING and EDUCATIONAL opportunities available to us as visual designers who use Adobe products...get a sneak peek at Adobe Edge and a new Adobe showcase web site to demonstrate cutting-edge technologies.

IS YOUR HEAD SPINNING YET? You might have thought about taking a class or buying a book in order to learn a new design program or sharpen your skills in a certain technology. We'll talk about some of the options available to you in the Kansas City area, and we'll also sample some recent video tutorials from Adobe, Lynda.com, and MacProVideo.com. How do YOU learn something new? Bring your ideas to help out your fellow group members. School starts this month, so how will you be engaged in learning?

We'll give away some hot new books in the design world, plus some free subscriptions to MacProVideo.com.
