Learn from the next generation of designers!

Join us Tuesday, March 4 at 7pm as our own Heather Lawrenz will introduce four of her students from the KU journalism school as they present on their design projects!

Ricky Smith, BS/Journalism Communications - Media Arts and Production concentration May 2025, will talk about experience with student run advertising program (the Agency) and NSAC
Gracie Wheeler, BS Journalism Communications - Digital Marketing Communications May 2025, will talk about her experience in her Campaigns Capstone project and highlight some of the work
Anna Dority, Master of Architecture '26, KU Women in Design Co-President, will present "Architecture + Adobe"
Gaby Loustau, BS Journalism - Media Arts concentration May 2025,
"Through the Creative Video Editing class, I was able to write, direct, film, and edit my own short film that I am currently entering into film festivals. I have also taken my skills outside of KU and have landed jobs with two different companies as a Media Director"

Heather and the students will join us online from KU, but we will meet in person at the KC Art Institute.
