Let's Make Greeting Cards!
Details
Join us for an evening of IDEAS for making Greeting Cards.
As artists, you might be surprised to realize that you already have art that can easily be turned into a greeting card! It might have started off as doodles, paintings or photographs in your collection of personal work - but it’s prime content for making cards, so let’s find a new life for it!
Sean McMenemy, a local maker of stuff, uses Adobe Fresco, Illustrator, Photoshop, and sometimes a camera to create his art. He will share tips for transforming your own art into greeting cards, show how he uses these tools for creating and formatting art for cards, and talk about utilizing other creative tools you already use, like printers, paper cutters and other physical supplies.
Sean will also be sharing his recommendations and links for equipment and supplies, along with a few of his own templates. Don't miss it!
We will be meeting in the Marburg room of Vanderslice Hall at the KCAI campus.
