What we’re about
Hello!
Welcome to dragon boating. We practice on Lake Meridian in Kent, WA. During race season we are on the water 3x/week, less during the rainiest months. Weirdly, we are rarely cold and uncomfortable. We can mentor you through several trainings and help you learn the basics of dragon boating. Enjoy the camaraderie and passion on the boat, and get plenty of help as you learn the sport. We supply all the equipment you will need to get started, just come in clothes you can get wet and bring a water bottle. Expect to start slow as you learn the abc's of dragon boat paddling while having a super fun time!
Check out our website at kentdragonboat.com. We compete up and down the West Coast in places like Seattle, Tacoma, Salem, and British Columbia.
Dragon boating is the fastest growing team water sport in the world and may very well be unlike anything you've ever done before. Come try it out! We are open to all ages and abilities - all you need is a desire to learn and have fun!
