About us
This group has been created for lesbian, queer, bisexual, questioning, and female identifying LGBTQ+ people living in Kent who are looking to connect, make friends, and build a genuine sense of community.
After relocating from London to Kent, I was surprised by the lack of spaces and social opportunities specifically for queer women in the area. It made me wonder why we should all have to rely on commuting back to London for social activities when there is so much beautiful Kent to explore.
The goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive, and relaxed environment where people can meet others like them, whether you are new to Kent, newly out, or simply looking to expand your social circle.
Events will include day trips to the Kent coast, countryside walks, countryside barbecues, picnics, brunches, casual drinks, and fun social activities. Everything is aimed at bringing people together in a friendly, supportive, and easy going way.
All lesbian, queer, bisexual, questioning, and female identifying people are welcome. This is a respectful and inclusive space where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves.
Important note: I am creating a trans inclusive group and warmly welcome women of all backgrounds, including trans women. I am committed to creating a respectful and supportive environment for everyone. If you do not share these values, this group may not be the right fit for you.
