About us
This group was created to help LGBTQ+ people in Kent connect, make friends, and build a genuine sense of community locally, without always needing to travel to London.
The group is open to all members of the LGBTQ+ community, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans people, non binary, queer, questioning, and gender diverse people. Everyone is welcome here.
Events will include things like coastal trips, countryside walks, brunches, picnics, casual drinks, and other relaxed social meetups designed to bring people together in an easy going and inclusive environment.
While the group is open to the wider LGBTQ+ community, there may occasionally be some women-only events, reflecting the group’s original focus and recognising that some people may prefer those spaces from time to time.

I am always looking for additional event hosts to help grow the community and keep regular events running. If you are interested in hosting events, please feel free to contact me for a chat. The expectation is that all events remain inclusive, respectful, and not politically focused or themed.
This group is intended to be welcoming to everyone. Any form of discrimination, aggression, harassment, or offensive behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in removal from the group.
Please update your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend an event. Repeated no shows or consistently failing to update your RSVP may result in removal from the group.
