Explore the dialectics of love, as recently outlined in an article by Martin Ucik in Allyson and Alex Grey’s COSM Journal of Love (see https://shop.cosm.org/products/cosm-journal-10)
Martin will distinguish between need-based asymmetric transactional love that is driven by our evolutionary biological purpose and often leads to unsustainable and painful master-slave relationships, and being-based symmetrical transcendental Love that is based in our transcendental (or souls/higher) purpose and leads to sustainable co-creative relationships that make the world a better place by sharing what we love to do, are good at, the world needs, and we get paid for.
After an introduction we will engage in exercises designed to provide an experience of both forms of love and how to move from “power over” to “power with” in your love relationships. The exercises will be followed by time for discussion and dialogue.
A suggested donation of $10 will be collected to cover costs.
