Paradoxes, Polarities, and Interdependence of Individual and Collective Development with Abigail Lynam

We will work with the polarity of I/We development, exploring and experiencing tensions, blind spots, interdependent development, and non-separation. Abigail will draw on a framework that maps the principles and practices Pacific Integral engages to support individual and collective development within the Generating Transformative Change (GTC) program. The I/We model supports the development of capacities for “subtle community” which is founded in contextual and systemic understanding, personal self-awareness, interpersonal differentiation and skills, and access to trans-personal states and stages of consciousness.

Abigail Lynam is a coach with Pacific Integral and faculty for the Emergent Leadership and Generating Transformative Change programs in North America, Europe, and Ethiopia. She is also faculty for Fielding Graduate University’s PhD in Human and Organizational Development. In addition, Abigail is a scorer and coach/developmental debriefer with Stages International and a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory. She has twenty years of experience in transformative learning, cross-cultural competence, adult development, coaching, and leadership development. Her scholarship and practice integrates the interior dimensions of human knowledge and experience (culture, worldviews, psychology, wisdom traditions, etc.) with interpersonal and collective change innovations. She works with tools and technologies for transformative change, such as Theory U, Integral Polarity Practice, Immunity to Change, shadow work, leadership embodiment, dialogue and contemplative practices, etc. She lives in the Pacific Northwest and loves to move and play in nature.
