Founded in 1984, Kind gives people in Ottawa’s queer communities personal and peer support, as well as a physical space for people to understand and inhabit their particular identities with confidence and courage.
Kind provides anyone on the human sexuality and gender spectrum with resources, information and support. We provide services and to supports to our community and connect them to places and spaces. Programs, events and initiatives include youth outreach initiatives, and peer led discussion/support groups. Peer-led groups Kind runs include: Queer trans youth, Café Q, Polybilities, QueerAmore, GenderQuest, etc. that are powered by our volunteers.

Fabulous 40's Group
400 Cooper Street, Ottawa, ON, CAThe Fabulous 40’s Group is a discussion and social space for 2SLGBTQIA+ in their 40’s to meet others their own age, often over slices of pizza. Maybe you are changing careers, navigating aging family or several major changes occurring in your life; this peer-group is here for you to share; seek advice and make new friends over a small activity. Join Jo and Jos, and others the first wednesday of every month from 6PM until 9PM as we stay fabulous during the long journey which is our 40’s.

QueerAmore Online (First Thursday)
·OnlineOnlineQueerAmore aims to create a comfortable space to gather and talk about issues related to being bisexual, pansexual, bi-curious and questioning. QueerAmore takes a fresh look at the challenges, rewards and temptations of exploring and enjoying your sexuality.
We’ll have discussions on achieving healthy relationships based on positive communication, understanding bisexuality/pansexuality in today’s world, and participate in activities that foster openness and acceptance of sexuality. So even if you know who you are, or just figuring out yourself, come chat about it with us.
QueerAmore meets every first Thursday and third Monday of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Ages 18+
