The purpose of this meetup is to facilitate the election of Dr. Ron Paul as President of the United States in 2012. Congressman Ron Paul of Texas enjoys a national reputation as the premier advocate for liberty in politics today. Dr. Paul is the leading spokesman in Washington for limited constitutional government, low taxes, free markets, and a return to sound monetary policies based on commodity-backed currency. He is known among both his colleagues in Congress and his constituents for his consistent voting record in the House of Representatives: Dr. Paul never votes for legislation unless the proposed measure is expressly authorized by the Constitution. To restore America the challenge begins at the grassroots level reaching out to family, friends and neighbors, educating them on the message of freedom and liberty and the opportunity we have as a nation to elect the best qualified man as the leader of the free world. The liberty message endorses limited government based on the Constitution, free markets, sound money, secure borders, a strong national defense and foreign non-interventionism. Freedom is individual and economic. Educating and energizing the grassroots, registering voters, recruiting precinct committee officers, engaging the electorate on the choices and the challenges America faces are just some of the activities members of this meetup will participate in. As Washington state will no longer have a primary election and only use caucuses along with county and state conventions to determine nominees, this group will focus on the caucus process and county/state convention education. Elections are won by those that show up!

Check your registration card. If you have moved, or cannot find your registration card, you can call King County Elections at 206-296-VOTE or look it up online: http://your.kingcounty.gov/elections/voterlookup.aspx 3) Engage in this meetups activities and King County events posted at this website, and help find and recruit other liberty loving freedom fighters 4) Get appointed or elected as a Precinct Committee Officer for your precinct 6) Network with other meetup groups or via whatever method works best for you as an individual 7) CAUCUS FOR DR.
