August monthly meetup
Details
Are you dreaming of starring in a short film or creating your own short film? Don't let your dreams be dreams, come join us!
Kino is a global movement of filmmakers. Kino Red Dot is the Singapore chapter, and we aim to create a safe, inclusive environment where people can regularly practice and learn their craft, from the page to the screen, through hands-on and time-boxed experience.
Our motto is: Do well with nothing, do better with a little, do it now.
Come watch what your fellow Kinoistas have been working on, share your thoughts, and celebrate the creativity of our community.
This month we're screening films under the Sad Love Story theme. A heartbreak, a goodbye, a love that never was. Your story, your way.
Want to screen your film? Submit here: https://forms.gle/W5jcBoQEqT3nFzpB9

Because we want to be inclusive to all our members, there is no competition, no prizes, no money, just the pleasure of making movies, practicing together, screening the results, and making friends.
Potluck at Crane! Our cozy screening space is generously hosted by Crane @ Joo Chiat. To keep this collaboration going, we kindly ask that you purchase your drinks directly from the venue during the event. And to make the night even better, we're asking everyone to bring some food to share ā something you like to eat, something you cooked, something grabbed from the supermarket, anything goes. Let the food help break the ice. We'll manage the potluck during the event.
Membership: Your first attendance is free, so newcomers can come along and get to know the community before committing. After that, we ask for a S$5 contribution per event to help cover venue rental, or you can hold an active membership at S$30 per year. This allows us to cover the cost of premise rental and create the best experience for our community. Membership can be settled conveniently during the meetup or online: https://forms.gle/HRCyZGapFoiV8hDb7
IMPORTANT: This is a private screening for our members only. The people allowed to enter have to be the ones who have RSVP'd. We won't be able to accept any drop-ins or +1s.
