One of our biggest event of this year is coming to Singapore, and we want you in on it.
A Kabaret is a fun, intense filmmaking challenge. Over a few days, participants write, shoot and edit short films from scratch, with a screening at the end of each session. You pitch an idea, form a crew on the spot, and make it happen, fast, together, and for the joy of it. It's surprising what a tight deadline unlocks: in a few days you can produce what sometimes isn't doable over a whole month. No experience needed, everyone is welcome, from seasoned filmmakers to complete newcomers.
This is an international edition, so we'll be joined by Kinoistas from around the world. It's a rare chance to work side by side with filmmakers from other chapters, swap techniques, and make films that none of us could make alone.

What's a production meeting? Directors pitch their film ideas to the room, and crews form on the spot with the people present. Come with an idea, or come to join a team.
Fees: Members free 路 Non-members SGD 20 per session 路 Students SGD 10 per session
Non-members can become a Kino Red Dot member for SGD 30 per year, which includes the Kabaret plus all our other events throughout the year.
Snacks provided at the lab, with healthy and vegan options.
